We at St Francis De Sales Cricket Club (SFDSCC) are very excited to say that in the 17/18 cricket season we will be fielding an open age ladies side.

We pride ourselves on being family orientated club with a great social atmosphere which includes fantastic functions throughout the year. The club is run by volunteers who always put enjoyment first.

The Victorian Turf Cricket Association (VTCA) is hoping to start a womens division which consist of one day games (36 overs per side) with a hand full of T20 games. All Games will be played on Sundays with the season running from October to March with a 3-4 week break over the Christmas/New Year period.

For the first year, the club will cover costs including insurances, registration and affiliation fees meaning there will be no upfront cost to pay. We kindly ask all players to purchase a playing shirt and to contribute a (small) weekly payment towards umpires and weekly expenses.

We aim to give all ladies an opportunity, no matter their ability with enjoyment being the ultimate goal.
